Prime Minister Imran Khan arrives in Karachi for a one-day visit

Islamabad: According to reports, Prime Minister Imran Khan arrived in Karachi for a one-day visit to review and issue instructions regarding federal government projects in the city Geographic News.

Accompanied by Ministers Asad Umar and Zubaida Jalal, the Prime Minister plans to chair important meetings at the Governor’s House of Sindh.

The Prime Minister will be briefed at the Karachi Port Trust (KPT) on various federal government projects implemented in the city under the umbrella of the Karachi Transformation Plan.

The Prime Minister is expected to issue instructions on its implementation.

The source said that Prime Minister Imran Khan will listen to a briefing by the Minister of Railway Azamswati on the Karachi Circular Railway (KCR) project, adding that after the KPT meeting, the Prime Minister is expected to visit Hub Chowki.

After the official event, the prime minister is expected to return to Islamabad on Tuesday night.

Karachi Development Kit

The heavy rains last year caused the main arterial roads and roads of Karachi to be inundated, and life in the provincial capital city was paralyzed. Prime Minister Imran Khan announced a Karachi development plan of Rs 11,000 crore.

PM Imran Khan referred to the Karachi transformation plan as a “historic” Rs 11,000 crore development plan, which will solve various problems in the city from water supply, transportation and solid waste management.

During the process of formulating the plan, the Prime Minister stated that the first problem the government will solve is the city’s water supply problem, that is, the completion of the Grand Karachi Water Supply Plan, known as K-IV. He once expressed the hope that Karachi’s water supply problem will be fully resolved in the next three years.

The Prime Minister assured the masses that the renovation plan will solve the city’s sewage and solid waste disposal problems.

When emphasizing the reform of Karachi’s transportation system, he once said that Karachi Ring Railway, BRT and other lines are included in the plan.

Prime Minister Khan once stated that the long-term development plan will span three years, the first phase of the plan will take one year, and the remaining plans will be implemented within two years.
