Islamabad: Prime Minister Imran Khan praised the Federal Revenue Service (FBR) for achieving a record revenue of 410 billion rupees in July 2021. news Reported on Saturday.
PM Imran Khan said on Twitter: “As of now, the collection is 410 rupees, which is the highest level ever recorded in July and is about 22% higher than the target required for that month.”
He described the record revenue revenue as a reflection of the policies adopted by the PTI-led government for sustained economic growth and recovery.
In early July, the Federal Revenue Service (FBR) exceeded the taxation target of Rs 46,910 crore for the 2020-21 fiscal year and successfully collected Rs 47,250 crore.
However, the FBR failed to achieve its original envisaged tax target of 49,630 billion rupees for 2020-21. According to the agreement of the International Monetary Fund, the target was lowered to 46,910 billion rupees.
According to FBR sources, taxes have increased by 18.2% this fiscal year.
