Islamabad: Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan said in Islamabad’s monsoon plantation plan on Monday that Pakistan is now recognized as a leading country that is taking steps to reverse carbon emissions.
In his speech, the Prime Minister asked the citizens to fully participate in the afforestation campaign in order to increase the country’s forest coverage.
He said, unfortunately, our forest coverage rate is very small compared with other countries in the region, because this matter has been neglected in the past.

The Prime Minister said that if everyone planted at least one sapling in the next three weeks, it would bring about a great revolution.
The prime minister stated that he also instructed the commissioner and deputy commissioners to ensure that they were planted in open spaces in the city. He said that our goal is to leave a better Pakistan for future generations.
He said that the government’s 10 billion tree tsunami plan and the planting of 1 billion trees in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are widely recognized worldwide.
The primer stated that Pakistan is now recognized as a leading country that is taking steps to reverse carbon emissions.
The Prime Minister convenes a tourism conference
At the same time, Prime Minister Imran Khan convened a meeting in the Prime Minister’s Office to review the progress of the government’s strategy to promote Pakistan’s tourism industry.
The Prime Minister will preside over the meeting, and federal ministers, advisers and special assistants will also attend.
He will listen to a comprehensive introduction about the tours and facilities provided for tourists.
