A Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) plane will deliver more than 2 million doses of Sinopharm vaccine to Pakistan.

A PIA spokesperson said that two Boeing 777 aircraft will arrive in Pakistan from Beijing on Saturday morning (today), carrying more than 2 million doses of Sinopharm vaccine.
It has added more than 15 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines that have been delivered to Pakistan through more than 10 flights of the national airline.

Earlier Friday, as many as 64,000 doses of Pfizer vaccine had arrived in Pakistan.

Sources said that the US vaccine arrived in Islamabad on a foreign airline’s flight.

Pakistan has signed an agreement with Pfizer to purchase 13 million doses of vaccine. Last month, 100,000 doses of vaccine have arrived in Islamabad.
