Pakistan’s coronavirus death toll exceeds 24,000

In the past 24 hours, due to the continued fourth wave of the coronavirus pandemic, another 86 people have died in Pakistan. Since then, the death toll has exceeded 24,000.

Daily data from the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC) shows that 49,506 COVID-19 tests have been conducted across the country in the past 24 hours. Of these, 3,884 were positive.

According to NCOC, the positive rate is now 7.84%.

The number of deaths from the coronavirus in the country has exceeded 24,000, reaching 24,004, and the total number of cases has reached 1,075,504.

In addition, in the past 24 hours, 2,669 patients recovered from COVID-19, bringing the total number of recoveries to 967,073, while the number of active cases was 84,427.
