  • Pakistan’s test team arrived in Barbados and faced the West Indies in two test series.

Barbados: The test team of the Pakistan cricket team arrived in Barbados to play against the West Indies in two series that began on July 12.

As all players will be tested for COVID-19 infection, this 11-member green shirt will spend the entire day in the quarantine area.

Players will only be allowed to land if they test negative for the coronavirus.

The test team included Abid Ali, Azhar Ali, Fawad Alam, Imran Butt, Muhammad Abbass, Naseem Shah, Noman Ali, Sajid Khan, Shahnawaz Dhani, Yasir Shah and Zahid Mahmood.

The rest of the players have already participated in the T20 series in the Caribbean. During the tournament, Pakistan and the West Indies will have two tests and four T20 matches.

Earlier, Cricket West Indies announced in a statement on Sunday that the schedule of the Pakistan and West Indies T20I series has been revised, reducing the schedule from five to four.

The board of directors announced that the four T20I series will start at the Kensington Oval in Barbados on July 28, and the remaining games will be held at Guyana’s National Stadium on July 31, August 1, and August 3.

  • August 1: Game 3 at Guyana’s National Stadium
  • August 3: Game 4 of Guyana’s National Stadium
  • August 12-16: First test at Sabina Park
  • August 20-24: Second test at Sabina Park
