Lahore: Pakistani cricketer Omar Akmal has decided to pardon the fans who appeared outside his home to attack him a few days ago.

Akmal has filed a lawsuit against four people, accusing them of assaulting him in his home earlier this week.

“We will not question the suspect’s bail request,” Akmal’s lawyer told the media.

After the incident, Cricket registered FIR against the suspects in Police Station Defense B, and they were subsequently arrested.

The batsman also decided to withdraw his petition in court, expressing his lack of confidence in the judge who tried the case.

A few days ago, four fans of the cricketer showed up outside his residence in Lahore and asked him to sign.

However, when Akmal refused to entertain them, the situation got out of control and the two sides had a fierce exchange. After the suspect allegedly assaulted him, the cricket player brought charges against the suspect.

Akmal had called the police to his residence and the suspect was arrested.

Having failed to report the corruption proposal made to him before the start of the fifth Pakistan Premier League, Akmal was accused in 2020 and has been in the headlines.

PCB said earlier this year that after completing the rehabilitation plan, Akmal will be eligible to participate in the competition again.
