The Inter-Service Public Relations Department stated that a soldier of the Pakistani army died on Thursday when he attacked militants near Turbat.

ISPR said that terrorists attacked the Pakistani army with small arms.

Martyred soldier Naik Aqeel Abbas was a resident of Mehro Peelo village in Chakwal district.

The statement stated that FC Balochistan South has launched a large-scale regional operation to hunt down terrorists.

ISPR stated: “With the support of anti-state forces, this cowardly behavior of hostile elements cannot undermine the hard-won peace and prosperity of Balochistan.”

The incident occurred a little more than two weeks later. Four football club personnel were martyred and eight others were injured in two terrorist attacks in Quetta and Turbat.

The Pakistan Army Media Department stated at the time that in the first incident, the FC outpost near Pir Ismail Ziarat was targeted by terrorists.

ISPR said: “In the second incident, terrorists targeted an FC vehicle equipped with an improvised explosive device in Turbat.” According to ISPR, the explosion caused two FC soldiers to be injured.
