Pakistan reports highest COVID-19 infection rate since May 30

• The positive rate of COVID-19 in Pakistan reached 4.09%, which is the highest report since May 30-4.05%.
• Pakistan reported 27 deaths and the total death toll rose to 22,582.
• 1980 cases were confirmed in a single day, and the total number of infections rose to 973,284.

According to data from the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), Pakistan has recorded the highest coronavirus positive rate since May 30 in the past 24 hours at 4.09%, which is 4.05%.

In sharing daily statistics, NCOC said that 1,980 coronavirus cases were detected in 48,382 tests conducted across the country on Saturday.

According to NCOC data, there have been 27 deaths in the past 24 hours, of which Sindh has the largest number of deaths, followed by Khyber Pakhtunwa.

Of the 27 people who lost their lives, 16 died from ventilators.

NCOC said that the country had recorded a total of 973,284 cases, 22,582 deaths, and 913,203 recovered, adding that there were 37,499 active cases.

According to the breakdown of the provinces, the total number of cases reported so far in Sindh is 346,360, Punjab 348,085, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 139,313, Islamabad Capital Territory 83,647, and Balochistan 27,961. Gilgit-Baltistan, 6 and 70.
