Pakistan repatriates five more Afghan soldiers: ISPR

The Inter-Service Public Relations Department (ISPR) said on Wednesday that the Pakistani army had repatriated five more Afghan soldiers to the Afghan government authorities.

According to military media, the soldiers returned at 17:45 PST after going through proper procedures. The army has allowed the Afghan army to enter Pakistan safely near the Alundu area on the Pakistan-Afghan border in Chitral.

ISPR added: “After the necessary permits, Afghan soldiers crossed the border into Pakistan. These soldiers have now returned to the Afghan authorities at their request.”

Pakistan repatriates 46 soldiers

Late Monday, after the Pakistani army lost control of a military post on the Pakistan-Afghanistan border, a group of Afghan soldiers solemnly handed over to their country’s authorities because they requested refuge and entered Pakistan safely. Say.

“Today, 46 Afghan soldiers, including 5 officers, were sent back to the Afghan authorities at the Nawa Pass in Bajor [Tuesday] 00:35, Pakistan standard time,” said the military’s media department.

The statement said that on July 25, the Afghan National Army and border police officers, at their own request, obtained a safe passage for the Pakistani army in the Alundu area of ​​the Pakistan-Afghanistan international border in Chitral.

ISPR has stated that after necessary permits, Afghan soldiers enter Pakistan with weapons, ammunition and communication equipment.

It added: “These soldiers have now been amicably returned to the Afghan authorities along with their weapons and equipment at the request of the Afghan authorities.”

“Pakistan will continue to provide all kinds of support to our Afghan brothers when needed,” the military media department said.

On Sunday night, the Pakistani army, at the request of these Afghan soldiers, gave them “refuge and safe passage” because they failed to serve as a military post on the Pakistan-Afghanistan border.
