Pakistan refuses to “fake up” India’s report on abolishing GSP+ status

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) on Tuesday refuted the Indian News Agency’s speculation about Pakistan’s cancellation of the GSP+ status, calling it “fabricated and continued India’s malicious propaganda against Pakistan”.

In a statement published on Twitter, the ministry wrote: “Even after the EU DisinfoLab report led India to discover false information on a global scale, the Indian government and the Indian media are still busy fabricating baseless stories about Pakistan. “

The statement further stated that Pakistan and the EU maintain close high-level contacts through various dialogue mechanisms, and Pakistan is still committed to the full implementation of 27 international conventions related to the GSP+.

The statement concluded: “Pakistan has successfully completed three biennial reviews.”
