Pakistan records more than 1,000 cases for the fifth consecutive day

Islamabad: After Pakistan recorded a positive rate of 2.97 on Monday morning, the country’s coronavirus positive rate was close to 3%.
After 19 more people died from the virus, the death toll from the global coronavirus pandemic in Pakistan rose to 22,427.
According to statistics from the National Command and Operations Center, in the past 24 hours, a total of 45,245 coronavirus tests were conducted across the country, of which 1,347 were positive.
This is the fifth day when there are more than 1,000 new cases every day, and it is also the sixth consecutive day that the positive rate exceeds 2%.
The total number of deaths from COVID-19 in the country has risen to 22,427, and the total number of cases has reached 963,660.
In addition, in the past 24 hours, 650 patients recovered from COVID-19, bringing the total number of recoveries to 907,934, while the number of active cases was 33,299.
