Islamabad: Statistics released by the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC) show that Pakistan’s coronavirus cases continue to be under control because the country has reported fewer than 1,000 coronavirus cases.

NCOC stated that Pakistan has conducted 44,544 COVID-19 tests in the past 24 hours, of which 901 have tested positive. The new cases brought the national positive rate to 2.02%.

In the past 24 hours, Pakistan also lost 23 people due to the pandemic. A day ago, the country reported 36 deaths from the virus.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, the total number of coronavirus cases in Pakistan is now 954,743, while the number of active cases in the country has increased to 32,341.

On the other hand, after more than 1,300 people recovered from COVID-19, the number of people who recovered from the coronavirus on Sunday exceeded 900,000.
