Order action against people who violate the kite flying law

Lahore: CCPO Lahore Ghulam Mehmood Dogar has instructed SP, including the Dolphin Squad and the Police Response Team, to immediately take non-discriminatory action against those who violate the Kite Fly Act.
He instructed that a special patrol team should be set up to monitor any kite-flying activities. He said that a total of 8,630 cases were registered and 8,735 defendants were arrested for flying kites, selling and manufacturing kites. They recovered more than 60,000 kites and more than 10,000 spinning wheels.
Other IG Ghulam Mehmood Dogar said that severe punishment is urgently needed to deter kite flying, and the Lahore police have already approached the Punjab Provincial Government.
SHO issued a notice: CCPO other IG Ghulam Mehmood Dogar suddenly visited four police stations here on Sunday. He visited Naulakha, Yakki Gate, Garhi Shahu and Qila Gujar Singh police stations. He expressed dissatisfaction with the lack of proper lighting by Qila Gujar Singh DSP during the inspection of Qila Gujar Singh and Garhi Shahu police stations. He instructed Qila Gujar Singh SHO to notify Qila Gujar Singh SHO of the reasons for his performance to show his poor performance.

Last week, about 70 platoons were dispatched every day to ensure safety arrangements across the city. Approximately 21 security guards and 42 mobile team personnel conducted shooting practice at the shooting range.
