Opened a new helpline for dairy farmers

KARACHI/SAHIWAL: A new helpline has been opened for Sahiwal dairy farmers to provide them with convenience and contact points to answer questions related to dairy products.

According to a statement issued by FrieslandCampina Engro Pakistan Limited (FCEPL), the Farmer Helpline (03041111804) opened on Friday.

The helpline will operate from noon to 2 pm from Monday to Friday and will be managed by dairy experts to guide existing and potential dairy farmers in their pursuit of excellence in business.

When the hotline was opened, Commissioner Ali Bahadur Qazi of Sahiwal, who was also the main guest of the ceremony, said that Pakistan is the world’s fourth largest milk producer, so there is an urgent need for more and more dairy products. Follow industry standard operating procedures (SOP) to educate farmers.

“Farmers must be able to maximize production in order to increase the contribution of the dairy industry to the economy,” he said. “Therefore, we will eventually be able to export our dairy products and support the national finances.”
