Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL) Clothing Ruby Trichy Warrior Will miss the service of the experienced duo Mulally Vijay And Anirudha Srikkanth. Due to personal reasons, both players withdrew this season.

The Tiruchirappalli-based club selected all-around player Varun Totadri and talented young man S. Kesav Krishna as substitutes for TNPL’s Vijay and Srikkanth in 2021.

After losing two key players before the season, the Ruby Trichy Warriors will have to reconsider their starting combination. That being said, young and inexperienced players will have the responsibility to score a lot for the Warriors.

The mentor of the club, Sreekumar Nair, has high hopes for Varun Totadri and S. Kesav Krishna. He revealed that he hopes they can achieve good results in the upcoming TNPL version. After the team practice session on Wednesday, the former Kerala all-around player said:

“Due to unforeseen and unavoidable circumstances, we cannot get both centers (Vijay and Anirudha) to participate in the game. We need to fill some gaps, which is one of the reasons why we chose two replacements.”

At the same time, TNPL club Chepauk Super Gillies suffered a blow before the season. Chepauk goalkeeper Ram Arvindh was excluded from the game. He injured his finger during club training.

The defending champion has replaced the 20-year-old goalkeeper batsman with the left arm spinner R. Ajith Kumar.

TNPL 2021 will start on July 19

The 2021 Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL) will start on July 19. Lyca Kovai The Kings will face the Salem Spartans in the season opener.

All matches will be played behind closed doors at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. This decision was made to curb the spread of COVID-19 in the city.
