Model Nayab was found dead in Lahore

Lahore: Lahore police said on Sunday that local model Nayab was found dead at her home in the provincial capital.

The police said the 29-year-old model was strangled to death and added that an unidentified man also tortured her. Nayab lives alone in her residence.

The police said they had filed a lawsuit against her step-brother Muhammad Ali, who said he found her body lying on the floor when he came to visit her.

The police said there were marks on her neck, while experts from the Punjab Forensic Science Bureau rushed to the murder scene to collect samples from the crime scene.

The police said that the 29-year-old woman’s mobile phone was missing, but there was no sign of looting in her house, adding that the model’s body had been sent for an autopsy.
