Mobile vaccination will begin in Karachi from August 3

• Sindh Kick launched mobile vaccination service from Karachi.

With the increase in the national coronavirus positive rate, home-to-door vaccination services will be provided in one district in Karachi and three other districts in Punjab province.

The spokesperson of the Sindh Provincial Government, Murtaza Wahab, launched the first mobile vaccination vehicle in Karachi. Starting tomorrow, an area of ​​Karachi will begin home vaccination services.

Murtaza Wahab said that efforts are being made to start mobile vaccination in all areas of the city as soon as possible. He added that mobile vaccination services will make life easier for all citizens.

Murtaza Wahab also thanked citizens for being vaccinated.

In the past few days, the number of people vaccinated against the coronavirus has increased. Murtaza Wahab said that on August 1, 211,000 people in Sindh were vaccinated.

Mobile vaccination campaign in Punjab

Sarah Aslam, Minister of Primary and Secondary Health Care in Punjab Province, also announced that three other districts will be included in special door-to-door social mobilization activities.

The newly added regions include Sialkot, Gujarat and Sal Gorda.

Aslam announced that the event will last from July 26 to August 14. During the election campaign, citizens will be vaccinated at the door of their homes at the level of the union committee.

She added that the health department has also developed a plan to vaccinate mourners attending majalis in Muharram.

Sarah Aslam also instructed the public to follow the standard operating procedures (SOP) prescribed by the government and vaccinate themselves in a timely manner, as this is the only key to dealing with the Delta variant.

She added that the Delta variant is likely to be one of the main strains of COVID-19 in Pakistan and globally.
