On the other hand, AJK Prime Minister Raja Faruk Haider stated that the Gandapur video proved a violation of the code of conduct, so Sadik should be disqualified.
He also demanded that Gandapur be banned from participating in election campaigns.
The President of the People’s Party Azad Kashmir Chowdhury Latif Akbar also stated that the incident was a test case for the Election Committee. Sadik should be disqualified and Gandapur was banned from participating in election activities.

The day before, AJK CEC sent a letter to Prime Minister Imran Khan, asking him to ensure that ministers abide by the code of conduct established for the July 25 elections.
Sulehria asked PM Khan to issue written instructions to the elected federal ministers and provincial governments to ensure that no one violated the AJK government’s code of conduct.
“It’s worth mentioning that anyone who violates any provisions of the Code of Conduct during a candidate’s campaign may lead to [in] Disqualification of the candidate concerned,” the letter read.
CEC informs the Prime Minister of the Code of Conduct
Sulehria also wrote a separate letter to the Prime Minister informing him of the code of conduct itself.

The AJK Election Committee issued the 2021 Code of Conduct, which requires all political parties, candidates and voters responsible for managing the election process to strictly abide by it to ensure that the election goes smoothly, fair, just and with the best A transparent approach will not in any way intimidate or intimidate voters in freely exercising their right to vote,” the letter said at the beginning.
The letter went on to state that the code “strongly prohibits any form of financial or development plan statement, or the attraction of any form of political parties, candidates and their sympathizers, to ensure voters’ support for any candidate. Except for party declarations.”
Sulehria said that this request was made “to ensure that the AJK general election […] It is carried out in a transparent and independent manner, without causing any accusations against public officials for misusing national resources.”
Gandapur donated cash
This week, a video began to circulate on social media, showing that Gandapur handed over a large amount of cash to some supporters in the AJK LA-1 Mirpur 1 constituency where he was running.
Some people gathered near Gandapur and complained to him that the road was severely damaged. They told him that they were seeking to fix it with the meager funds they could raise. Having said that, the minister immediately handed over the donation to them, which was recorded as a video.
Gandapur also stated that he is ready to provide further financial assistance and promised people that the road will be repaired next time he visits the area.
There are also reports that other ministers have promised to implement various plans in other electoral districts in their respective campaigns.
