Noting the alleged abduction of a Hindu girl in the Kotri district, the Minister of Food and Minority Affairs of Sindh, Hari Ram Kishori Lal, contacted DIG in Hyderabad by phone on Tuesday and instructed him to take immediate measures to recover her. .

He said that his family claimed that the police were involved in the incident and should be investigated immediately and submitted to FIR. The family reportedly requested that the report be submitted as soon as possible.

The minister said that according to the girl’s parents, she worked in a cotton spinning factory. He said that the suspects should be arrested and severe action should be taken against them in accordance with the law. Lal also instructed the district government to provide all possible cooperation to the affected families.
