Human Rights Minister Shireen Mazari said on Wednesday that the names of the parents of Zahir Jaffer, the main suspect in the murder of Noor Mukadam, should also be added to the Provincial Identity Card (PNIL), so they are prohibited from flying abroad.

“The suspect’s parents are American citizens. They should also be included in the PNIL,” she said, referring to Zahir’s name has been added to the list.

Mazari’s speech was made during a briefing by the Senior Superintendent (Investigation) to the Standing Committee on Human Rights.

“Such crimes should be coordinated at the provincial level,” the minister said.

Mazzari said that in Khadija Siddiqui stabbing case, The attacker was released early, which shouldn’t have happened. She added that the Shahrukh Jatoi case is also difficult to recover.

The minister said that she was in contact with Noor Mukadam’s family.

“Noor Mukadam’s family is satisfied with the police investigation [so far],” she says.

He said that in addition to Zahir, two domestic workers were also arrested.

SSP stated that employees of Therapy Works and close friends of the suspect participated in the investigation.

He said that he also asked the FBI to obtain Zahir’s criminal record abroad.

According to the official, the physical remand of Zahir’s parents and two domestic workers has ended and they are now undergoing judicial remand.

At the same time, the chairman of the committee announced that all meetings of the human rights committee will be held on camera.
