Islamabad: “It seems that the government is ready to recognize Israel as a country,” PML-N Vice President Maria Mnawaz claimed on Tuesday, seeking a reply from the center on this matter.
If this is contrary to the facts, then “Why didn’t the government issue a denial?” the vice president of PML-N asked in a speech at a press conference.
Mariam told the government: “If you make a decision, then inform the people, because this is not a personal decision made by you alone,” she emphasized that the whole country should be full of confidence in this matter.
In answering a question, the PML-N leader expressed anger and rejected the speculation that she had reached an agreement with the government. “ّWhy do you always ask about transactions for all things?”
“Why do we have to reach an agreement with the people we oppose. Are we crazy about reaching an agreement with those people?” Mariam asked.
Speaking of the elections held in Azad Jammu and Kashmir on July 25, she said that “the party has given me responsibility for campaign activities in Azad Jammu and Kashmir.”
She said that I do not need me in places or events where PML-N President Shahbaz Sharif is attending. It is worth noting that Mariam did not attend the anti-government rally of the Pakistani Democracy Movement held in Swat two days ago.
“PML-N is in a strong position in Azad Kashmir. If there is a transparent election, then there is no doubt that PML-N will win there,” Mariam said.
The vice president of PML-N further stated that the entire PTI “disagrees with each other.”
“If elections are held, their situation will be obvious to all. This government will not come back after it leaves,” she said.
Mariam said that when electing national leaders, the people must always make the choice. “As far as Imran Khan is concerned, this country has seen the results of this choice,” she added.
Government response
The Prime Minister’s Special Representative for Religious Harmony, Maulana Tahir Ashrafi (Maulana Tahir Ashrafi) responded to Mariam’s statement in a video statement, saying that the Prime Minister’s position on Israel was “very clear”.
He continued to express that the world appreciates the position of the Pakistani government, nation and country towards Israel.
Ashrafi said that the Palestinian president called Prime Minister Imran Khan’s position on the matter as an act of “brave people.”
“While politicizing national commonality, we must keep in touch with reality,” he said.
“The Prime Minister’s position is that before Palestine becomes an independent state, it cannot consider its relationship with Israel,” Ashrafi said.
