PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz claimed on Wednesday that Prime Minister Imran Khan had “accepted him as the choice of the chooser” and not the choice of the people.

Mariam said at an election rally in the town of Hajra in Jammu and Kashmir in Azad, saying: “I read recently that Imran Khan told his people not to worry, because the electors have no choice but him. .”

“I want to tell you (Imran Khan) that unfortunately you have accepted that you are not the choice of the people, but the choice of the chooser,” the PML-N leader said.

Maryam claimed that PM Imran Khan had accepted that he won the 2018 election through manipulation.

“You are the choice of the chooser because you obey them without a doubt,” she said.

The PML-N leader stated that no matter what the prime minister’s tactics — “whether he steals votes, sits inside, or kidnap the entire election staff” — AJK has announced its decision to support PML-N in the upcoming elections. The second meeting of the Legislative Assembly-scheduled for July 25, 2021.

“The Nawaz Sharif who came out of the ballot box voted to support the freedom of Kashmir, while Imran Khan voted to support the region as a province,” she said.
