Federal Information and Broadcasting Minister Fawad Chaudhry said on Monday that PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz and PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari should resign from their party positions after their defeat in the elections for the Azad Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly on July 25 .

At the same time, Fawad said at a press conference held with the Federal Minister of Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan Ali Amingandapur that the people of Kashmir rejected Mariam Nawaz Sharif’s narrative.
“Nawaz met Hamdullah Mohib, Afghanistan’s national security adviser before the election, and he got the answer [from Kashmiris] Because I met an anti-Pakistan guy,” he said, adding that the PML-N candidate’s statement of seeking help from India was unfortunate.
The minister claimed that Prime Minister Imran Khan was the first leader to speak out for the people of Jammu and Kashmir occupied by India.
Ali Amin Gandapur took over the reporter and thanked the people of Azad Kashmir for supporting PTI in the election and assured that the party government will solve their common problems.
