As expected, young prominent figures are leading the fan vote. Major League Baseball home run leader Vladimir Guerrero Jr. is pacing on the court, while two other budding stars and two veterans join him to become the top vote winners in the first stage.

  5. Fernando Tatis Jr., Padres (2,052,642 votes)

The All-Star voting process now enters the second stage. The top three winners of each position in the first stage will play online from Monday noon to Thursday at 2 pm Eastern Time, and the winner will get the starting position game of the All-Star Game.

Voting for the first stage will not be carried forward, so each of the three finalists will start over.

With seven teams, the Astros are the team with the most finalists, although no team leads their respective positions. The Blue Jays, Cubs and Dodgers each have five.
