Large crowds gathered in Larkana to welcome Shahnawaz Dahani

On Saturday, following the outstanding performance of hometown hero Shahnawaz Dahani in PSL 2021, a large group of people appeared in Larkana.

After the right-arm fast bowler scored the most wickets in the PSL in 2021, his popularity has soared. Dahani scored an impressive 20 wickets throughout the game to stay ahead of other bowlers.

Because of his outstanding achievements, he was named the best rookie player and best bowler in the tournament.

On Saturday night, hundreds of people gathered around his car to express their love and appreciation for him, and the hero of his hometown was covered with rose petals.

Dahani thanked people on Twitter for standing for hours in the heat of Larkana, just to pay tribute to him.

WaTu Izzu Man Tasha-o WaTu Zillu Man Tasha. How can I thank those who welcomed me for a few hours during the intense heat of La Cana? It’s just a wonderful feeling,” he wrote on Twitter.

The pitcher vowed never to disappoint his fans.

“Thank you to everyone who came to express your love, respect and support for me. InshAllah, I will always make you proud of me,” he added.

In an earlier interview with, the bowler said that playing for Pakistan in the 2022 World Cup is still his dream.

“Playing at PSL made me a different cricketer. I entered this league as a new talent and spent time with some of the best professional players. The main support this league provided me was to overcome my fear and Nervous,” the pacemaker said before the final against Peshawar Zalmi.

“I can now pitch to anyone, enter the ground with confidence and perform bravely,” said the fast bowler.

Dahani said that for an athlete, nothing is more important than representing his country in the World Cup.

“It is my dream to play the World Cup for Pakistan,” he said.

“If I have the opportunity to participate in the T20 World Cup, I assure you that I will try my best to prove my courage and show the world that I am the best,” he said confidently.
