Lahore: A source confirmed to Geographic News on Sunday that the police arrested the step-brother of the killed model Nayab Nadeem on suspicion of murdering her.

Nayab, 29, was found murdered in her defensive B residence on July 11. According to the police, the model who lived alone was strangled to death after being tortured.

The police informed Geographic News that the suspect had admitted to murdering his stepsister and added that evidence collected from the crime scene confirmed his involvement.

A police source told Geographic News that the fingerprint sample at the door of the model’s residence matched the fingerprint sample of her step-brother, indicating that he was the only person who visited her residence that day.

It is worth mentioning that her step-brother was the first to find her body and report to the police.

After getting into the details of the murder case, the police said that the suspect killed Nayab after a brief argument and strangled her throat. In order to escape investigators, the suspect allegedly stripped the victim’s clothes so that the police believed it was a crime of rape and murder.

Nayab recently returned to Lahore from Dubai: Police

Prior to this, the police had investigated the case and claimed that the murderer took the cell phone of the slain model and fled from the back of the house.

“Rear [scrutinising] For phone details, her close friend has been included in the investigation,” the police said.

“The deceased recently returned to Lahore from Dubai,” the police confirmed. An autopsy had been performed, after which Nayab’s body was returned to her relatives.

The police have said that after the suspect killed her, they tried to describe it as rape and murder.
