Kokomi’s elemental skills, bursts and gameplay revealed

Genshin Impact introduced Sangonomiya Kokomi in the recent Archon Quest. According to the leak, she will make her debut as a playable character in 2.1.

Kokomi is confirmed to have Hydro vision in Genshin Impact and is likely to be a catalyst user. Although she may be the third Hydro-catalyst character in the game, the leak revealed that her equipment has some quite unique features. Some leaked videos may even reveal her gameplay completely.

Leaked video shows Kokomi’s elemental abilities in Genshin Impact

A popular leaker in the Genshin Impact community, username abc64, recently released a video showing the gameplay of Kokomi.

In the video, players can see the normal and charged attacks of the upcoming character, as well as her elemental abilities.

Kokomi’s elemental skills in Genshin Impact

Kokomi used the vow of her elemental skill Kurage to summon a creature called “bake-kurage”. In the abc64 video, bake-kurage is a jellyfish.

Baking Kuraqi produces water ripples in its surrounding area, causing water damage for a duration of 12 seconds. The jellyfish will also heal the active character based on Kokomi’s maximum HP.

Kokomi’s elemental explosion in Genshin Impact

Kokomi’s Elemental Burst and Nereid’s Ascension will produce a Hydro attack, hitting enemies around the character. According to the leak, the damage of this attack will be increased to 18.75% of Kokomi’s maximum health at talent level 10.

After the attack is over, Cocome will wear a ritual costume, which is currently displayed as a water ring on her back. This increase should give Kokomi a maximum HP-based buff to increase her attack and elemental skill damage for 10 seconds.

In addition, Coco Mei’s normal attacks and charged attacks will heal all members based on her maximum health.

If needed, Kokomi can also run on the water in her ritual costume.

Genshin Impact players will definitely use this ability to aid their exploration, although characters such as Mona and Ayaka may be more suitable.

Based on her equipment, it looks like Kokomi will become a supporting role in Genshin Impact. Both of her elemental skills can heal other players, and her elemental skills can cause damage even outside the field.

It is worth wondering how Kokomi compares to Barbara, the current Hydro therapist in Genshin Impact. With a full investment, Kokomi may stand out because of Barbara’s rarity. But for a four-star idol, it is much easier to get a constellation. C6 ability makes her very good in the spiral abyss.

Genshin Impact players who desire Kokomi may soon have a strong therapist on their team. If the leak is true, the player only needs to wait until the next version to summon her.

The leaker expects that version 2.1 will also have a banner about Baal and Kujou Sara, possibly before Kokomi. Many players definitely want to use Electro Archon, but those who need Hydro support can save Kokomi some Primogems.
