Pakistan Supreme Court (SC) Judge Qazi Faez Isa and his wife Sarina Isa have tested positive for COVID-19.

The Supreme Court of Pakistan confirmed this in a handout issued by the Deputy Registrar of the Supreme Court on Saturday.

Judge Qazi Faez Isa and his wife Sarina Isa have self-quarantined at home.

It is worth mentioning here that the Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Justice Gulzar Ahmed (Gulzar Ahmed) had also been tested for COVID before, but he tested negative for the virus every time.

Judge Gulzar Ahmed and his family tested negative for the coronavirus on April 14 because of preventive measures taken after a naib-qasid of the Supreme Court tested positive.

According to a handout issued by the Supreme Court at the time, symptoms of coronavirus were found in a naib-qasid in the Supreme Court and were quarantined.

“In his first test, the report highlighted some of his suspicions about the symptoms of the virus, and he underwent another test,” it added, adding that the second test confirmed that court staff were affected by COVID-19.

A handout issued by the Supreme Court stated that Justice Gulza Ahmed, his family and a secretary were also tested and all of them tested negative for the virus.
