The head of Jamaat-e-Islami Karachi, Hafiz Naeemur Rehman, asked Karachi residents to participate in the protests today (Sunday). He said on Saturday that inflation and unemployment have broken all records under the Pakistan Justice Movement (PTI) regime.

He expressed his views during a party meeting in Korangi on the demonstrations to be held on New Magena Road this afternoon to protest against “surge inflation and unemployment tsunami.”

The central leadership of JI decided to launch a nationwide protest movement against inflation and unemployment at the recent Shura meeting. In this regard, protest days will be celebrated in all major cities including Karachi today.

Rahman believes that the government’s poorly managed, incompetent and flawed policies are responsible for this situation. He said that the federal government prepared the budget for the 2021-22 fiscal year in accordance with the instructions of the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

Before joining the Treasury Bench, PTI leaders, including Chairman Imran Khan, have been reiterating that joining the IMF plan is tantamount to economic suicide, but then they put the country and the entire country under the control of the monetary institution. Say.

He said that under the PTI regulations, the prices of daily necessities, natural gas and electricity have risen sharply, but it is illogical. He also emphasized that the PTI government promised to provide 10 million jobs, but failed to deliver what its leaders claimed.

Rahman asked the masses to participate in a demonstration at 4 pm to express their anger and grief over the rising inflation rate. JI leaders Munim Zafar, Abdul Jameel, Abdul Hafeez and others also spoke at the meeting.
