When the Japanese aerobatic team Blue Impulse scored five Olympic rings in the sky of Tokyo, they completed a spectacular aerobatic performance. The team is rehearsing for a similar event scheduled for later this week.
Blue Impulse completed the maneuver over the Tokyo National Stadium. The National Stadium will host the opening ceremony, closing ceremony and track and field competitions.

During the rehearsal, the blue sprint team drew the five rings with white smoke. But for actual events, the halo in the sky will have the primary colors of blue, yellow, black, green, and red.
