Former CEO of Twitter, Jack Dorsey, took responsibility and apologised for the mass layoffs under Elon Musk’s ownership on Saturday.

The platform co-founder tweeted yesterday saying that he understands the anger that people have against him.

While addressing the mass layoffs, he issued an apology for growing the company size too quickly, which resulted in the chaos post-Elon Musk takeover.

He further added that he’s “grateful for, and love, everyone who has ever worked at Twitter. I don’t expect that to be mutual in this moment…or ever…and I understand”.

The apology has received a backlash from the users.

Jack Dorsey stepped down as the CEO in November last year. However, he endorsed Musk’s takeover as he trusted him as a ‘singular solution’ for the platform.
