Islamabad: According to Geographic News, police arrested a man brandishing a pistol and a knife outside the Capitol on Monday.

The man can be seen in several videos that went viral on social media, holding a pistol in one hand and a knife in the other.

The police can be seen standing nearby, trying to reason with the suspect. He was quickly arrested and taken to a nearby police station.

After arresting the suspect, the police stated that preliminary investigations revealed that he was a 45-year-old man living in the Chakri area of ​​Rawalpindi.
