According to a report by Geographic News on Monday, left-handed batsman Harris Sohail may have to miss the first ODI between Pakistan and England because he still continues to feel pain in his right leg.
Due to injury, Sohail will not participate in the two practice matches scheduled for the national team in Derby on July 5 and 6. Last week, Sohail missed the team practice match due to the same injury.
The left-handed batsman has started to recover and will undergo an MRI scan in Cardiff on July 6. It will then be decided whether he can participate in the ODI against England on July 8.
The three ODI series between Pakistan and England are also part of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup Super League, which will start in Cardiff on July 8.
The Pakistan team is scheduled to go to Cardiff on July 6.
