On Sunday, Italy will face England in the Euro 2020 final.

For the next 40 years, England remained dominant until they lost 2-0 at the Stadio Comunale in Turin in 1973. They did not lose one of their six games against the Italians.
In the 1990 World Cup in Italy, the hosts won 2-1 in the third-place playoffs.
The last time the two countries participated in the European Cup was in 2012, when Italy defeated England 4-2 in a penalty shoot-out.
