On Tuesday, heavy rains in different cities in Punjab Province disrupted people’s lives, streets were severely flooded, and at least two people were killed in various rain-related accidents.

The low-lying areas of Faisalabad and Mianwali were flooded and water flowed into the houses. The railway tracks in Cottonwari may be damaged by urban flooding.

According to reports, there were also heavy rains in Gujranwala, Jhang and Murree.

In Lahore, 99mm of rain made the weather pleasant, but the roof of the house collapsed and one person died and 10 others were injured.

People have seen traders in the cattle market work hard to protect animals from the rain.

The fire station at Allama Iqbal International Airport was also flooded, as were the runways and tarmac. Rescue and emergency vehicles plunged into deep muddy water.

In Raywind, a 30-year-old man was killed when the roof of his home collapsed due to rain, and 10 people were injured in similar incidents in the China Project and Mohanawar area.

The Chohang Police Station was also flooded by rain, but this did not stop the police from performing their daily work.

The Pakistan Meteorological Department predicts that the weather in Punjab is pleasant during the Eid al-Adha, and rain may continue in the next few days.
