New Delhi: Google is ready to remove the “Super Dating” app from the Play Store to make the app download platform for Android phones more secure. The tech giant said that the Play Store will stop hosting the “Sugar Dating” application from September 1.
On the support page, Google mentioned that the dating app under the scanner will be deleted because it will host “pornographic content” on the app. Starting from September 1, Google has also updated several other new policies, such as device and network abuse policy, permission policy.
On the Play Console support site, Google has specified upcoming changes to the Google Play Store. “We are updating the inappropriate content policy to impose new restrictions on sexual content, especially the prohibition of paid sexual relationships (ie sugar dating),” Google said.
Google is banning all such applications, such as SDM, Spoiler and Sugar Daddy. For those inexperienced, the Sugar Dating app allows older people to date young people to overcome loneliness, but usually for money.
In addition to banning the Sugar Dating application, the Google Play store will also incorporate several other new policies, including a developer preview version of App Set ID for analysis or fraud prevention.
“We are updating our advertising policy to indicate that the use of Android advertising ID has changed. Google stated that when users delete the Android advertising ID on newer devices, the advertising identifier will be deleted and replaced with a string of zeros.
