Google starts to tell you how it finds search results

The company said on Thursday that Alphabet’s Google will now show its search engine users more information about why they found the results they display.

It said that people can now query detailed information through Google searches, such as how their results match certain search terms, in order to better determine whether the information is relevant.

Google will now warn you about unreliable search results

Google has been making changes to provide users with more background information about the results provided by its search engine.

Earlier this year, it introduced panels to tell users the source of the information they saw. It also began to warn users when the subject developed rapidly and search results might be unreliable.
