Former Sindh CM Arbab Ghulam Rahim joined PTI

Islamabad: According to Geographic News, the former Chief Minister of Sindh, Arbab Ghulam Rahim, joined PTI after meeting with Prime Minister Imran Khan.
Rahim said that Khan appointed him to organize the party in Sindh, adding that people will hear a lot of “good news” from the province in the coming days.
In May 2013, the former chief minister merged his party, the Muslim People’s League (PML) with PML-N after meeting with former chief minister Shahbaz Sharif in Lahore.
Arbab Ghulam Rahim: Introduction
This former PML-Q member served as the Chief Minister of Sindh Province from 2004 to 2007.
Rahim was born on September 15, 1957. He sought early education in a village in Tehsil Diplo, Tharparkar District, and then joined the Petaro Cadet.
He then went to the Liakat University of Medicine and Health Sciences in Jamshoro to study medicine, but then transferred to Jinnah Sindh Medical University in Karachi, where he completed five years of MBBS.
He first contested the local government election and was elected as Nazim of Mirpur Khas district in 1983.
In 2002, he became a member of the Sindh Provincial Assembly from the PS-60 constituency of Tharparkar with a vote of PML-Q.
