Former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi will play in Nepal’s Premier League

Islamabad: Former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi prepares to participate in the Kathmandu King Eleven (KKXI) match of the Nepal Everest Premier League (EPL), which is scheduled to be held in Kathmandu from September 25th to October 9th this year Tribhuvan University Cricket Ground.

The 41-year-old Afridi is an aggressive batsman and a skilled errand runner. He has extensive experience in international competitions and has played for Pakistan and international teams in different leagues.

He played 27 Tests, 398 ODIs and 99 Twenties.

“Shahid Afridi is an iconic superstar in sports. Many current cricket stars admire him as a great cricket player. Nepalese cricket fans also regard him as a legendary cricket player. We understand With this sentiment, we are proud and honored to announce that the world-famous cricketer Shahid Afridi will play for King XI of Kathmandu,” KKXI team boss Rohit Gupta told cricnepal.com.

Afridi also brings experience in the global competition, including the Indian Super League, Pakistan Super League, Big Bash, Caribbean Super League, Bangladesh Super League and so on.

KKXI is one of the six teams participating in the competition and announced Afridi on Monday as their important signing this season.
