The spokesperson of the FIA ​​Sindh Province said that the additional Director General of the FIA ​​South Region introduced him to the work of the South Region, which includes Sindh Regions I and II and Balochistan.

He listened to a briefing about the ongoing investigation and investigation. The Southern District is handling 2292 inquiries and 358 cases under investigation.

DG FIA issued instructions to complete the inquiry and investigation of the case. He heard cases heard in different courts and convictions in cases related to money laundering, Hundi/Hawala and corruption in public sector organizations.

In the past three years, the FIA ​​has recovered a total of 22.16 billion rupees, and the court imposed a fine of 9.32 billion rupees on these cases.

In the money laundering case, the Southern District confiscated property worth 2.128 billion rupees. Similarly, in the Hundi/Hawala case, 1.149 billion rupees in cash was seized.

The number of people who have been punished in the past three years is 3,828. In these cases, the offender was sentenced to imprisonment ranging from two to 28 years.

Abasi appreciated the work of the FIA ​​Southern District and emphasized the need to improve the quality of investigations.
