Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry said on Saturday that the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has so far recovered 330 billion rupees in a false account case involving former President Asif Ali Zardari.

The Minister of Information said in a tweet that this amount is equivalent to 200 million U.S. dollars, and according to the registered cases, the total amount of financial violations is as high as 5 trillion rupees.

The Minister of Information added: “This recovery gives people an understanding of the level of corruption that is taking place and how the rulers are plundering Sindh and Pakistan.”

Last week, the Minister of Information delivered a speech at a rally in Dadan Khan, strongly criticizing the opposition and saying that Pakistan’s only way out is to get rid of the Nawaz and Zardari families.

He laughed at PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz, saying that she had claimed that she had no property in Pakistan, let alone in London.

“Maria Mnawaz has been lying,” Favad said.

He said that Bilawar had been giving speeches related to the Kashmir election, screaming loudly, but he did not seem to understand the true position of his party in the region.
