Islamabad: Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry stated that the government is focusing on setting an agenda for talks with Baluchist nationalists and insurgents.

The minister said on Twitter on Tuesday that India’s terrorist network in Balochistan has been largely dismantled.

“Now, we must set an agenda for talks with Baloch nationalists,” he wrote on Twitter.

On Monday, Prime Minister Imran Khan issued a statement stating that the government is considering negotiations with the Baloch rebel group, and the Minister of Information subsequently made the above remarks.

Fawad also talked about development projects in Balochistan, saying that the federal government intends to complete 131 projects in the province, worth up to 731 billion rupees.
