Dump truck driver ran over traffic police

Karachi: A policeman was run over by the driver of a dump truck in the North Nazmabad area of ​​the city because he tried to prevent him from committing a traffic violation. Geographic News Reported on Saturday.

The traffic police said that the driver was stopped near Abdullah College, but he refused to park the car beside him. Instead, he drove the vehicle past Deputy Inspector Muhammad Hafeez.

After the incident, Hafez was rushed to a private hospital on Stadium Road. However, he died from his injuries.

The police have registered the suspect based on a complaint from a police officer of the North Nazmabad Police Station and have begun to look for the person responsible.

According to the traffic police, Deputy Inspector Hafez was stationed in the traffic section of North Nazimabad.
