Domestic air travel must provide COVID-19 vaccination certificate: NCOC

Islamabad: The National Command and Operations Center (NCOC) announced on Saturday that domestic air travel must present a COVID-19 vaccination certificate.

The country’s top COVID-19 agency urges the public to be vaccinated by July 31 to avoid any inconvenience.

NCOC said that from August 1st, passengers will be required to carry a vaccination certificate when taking domestic flights.

The Civil Aviation Administration (CAA) issued a notice on this, stating that these guidelines have been communicated to all airlines.

The notice said: “From August 1st, people who have not been vaccinated on domestic flights will be banned from travelling.”

It stated that this restriction applies to all individuals 18 years and older.

As things developed, the daily number of cases and deaths on Saturday morning dropped slightly.

The positive rate of coronavirus in Pakistan has dropped and is currently 4.89%.

According to the latest data from the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC) on its official portal, at least 32 people died from the coronavirus on Friday, bringing the total death toll to 22,971.

In the past 24 hours, a total of 37,636 coronavirus tests were conducted across the country, of which 1,841 people tested positive.
