The official said that for the past 28 to 30 years, people from some sports federations have been doing the same work there. According to the two-term sports policy, no one is allowed to serve more than two terms in the seats of chairman, secretary and treasurer.

Mushtaq added that the policy also prohibits the official from obtaining any other positions after completing two terms. The secretary of the ministry also stated that the POA and the National Sports Federation opposed the new sports policy and the establishment of an independent election forum.

Mushtaq said that under this new policy, the Chief Election Committee of the Sports Federation will stop any official from holding any position after completing two terms. “A dispute resolution committee is also being established and will be managed by people who have no disputes,” the IPC secretary revealed.
