A 13-member delegation from the Independent Permanent Human Rights Committee (IPHRC) of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) went to the Muzaffarabad Access Control Line (LoC) to monitor the situation on the ground.

According to the details, the IPHRC delegation will meet with President Azad Kashmir Masood Khan, Hurriyat leaders, and will also interact with victims of Indian atrocities along the Line of Control.

The members of the delegation came from Saudi Arabia, UAE, Turkey, Morocco, Malaysia, Nigeria, Uganda and other countries.
This visit coincided with India’s completion of two years of illegal steps on August 5.

In an interview with the media, Dr. Eden Safi Khanli of Azerbaijan said that they will meet with Kashmiris to convey the message that they are not alone. He regretted India’s decision not to allow them to visit occupied Kashmir.

On the other hand, the Indian government does not allow the OIC team to visit occupied Kashmir in order to cover up the real situation and plight of the Kashmiris.
