Lahore: The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) shot and killed three militants in the Ferozewala area of ​​the city on Sunday.

A CTD spokesperson said that the militants were living in a rental house in Ferozewala, where they planned to attack intelligence agencies and law enforcement personnel.

CTD added that the militants also plan to target important people.

CTD stated that all three terrorists were from Afghanistan, and added that the force conducted the operation based on intelligence.

A spokesperson for the force said that the militants opened fire as soon as the CTD arrived at the house, adding that the CTD’s retaliatory fire killed three militants.

CTD said that a suicide vest, three grenades and two Kalashnikov rifles were found on them.
