Covid killed 14 more people in Sindh and another 595 people tested positive

In the past 24 hours, another 14 people have died of Covid-19 in Sindh, and another 595 have tested positive for the disease. The number of deaths due to viral coronavirus infection in the province has reached 5,341.
Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah said in his daily report on health emergencies on Sunday that 13,985 samples were tested in the past 24 hours, resulting in 595 people ( (4.3% of those who were screened) were diagnosed with Covid-19.
He added that so far, the provincial government has conducted 4,379,213 tests, resulting in 332,237 positive cases, which means that 8% of the people who have been screened have been found to be infected.
Shah said that after the recent deaths, the number of confirmed cases in Sindh who failed to fight Covid-19 was 2%.
He said that 19,598 people in the province are currently infected: 18,969 people are self-isolating at home, 32 people are in isolation centers, 597 people are in hospitals, 539 people are in critical condition, 49 of whom are in life support.
He added that in the past 24 hours, the number of people recovered has increased by 231, and the number of people cured has increased to 307,298, with a recovery rate of 92.4%.
CM said that of the 595 new cases in Sindh, Karachi had reported 377 cases (or 63.4%): 100 of the new patients in the city were from Southern District, 86 from Eastern District, 76 from Central District, 57 The first names are from Korangi District, 33 from West District and 25 from Mariel District.
As for the rest of the province, Hyderabad has reported 35 new cases, Thatta 23, Mirpurkhas 22, Badin 20, Kashmore 17, Naushehroferoze 14, Tando Allahyar 11, Matiari 10, 9 cases each in Dadu and Shaheed Benazirabad, and 8 cases in Jamshoro. He added that there were 4 Tando Muhammad Khan, 3 each from Larkana and Umerkot, and 1 each from Sanghar, Sukkur and Shikarpur.
The Chief Executive once again called on the people of Sindh to abide by the standard operating procedures established by the provincial government.
