COAS and his wife visited the family of Captain Shaheed Basit Ali

Chief of Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa (Qamar Javed Bajwa) and his wife visited the family of Captain Shaheed Basit Ali (Basit Ali), whose family is located in Hometown near Haripur.

The commander prayed for the dead souls and offered Fataha. When interacting with the families of the martyrs, COAS Bajwa said that nothing is more important than giving your life to defend the country.

“The whole country is proud of the ultimate sacrifice made by our national hero.” The Army Chief of Staff also reiterated the armed forces’ determination to fight against Pakistan’s enemies.

Earlier, General Qamar Javed Bajwa, Chief of Staff of the Army (COAS), visited the western border with Afghanistan to spend the Eid al-Adha with the army and improve their morale and determination.

According to ISPR, General Bajwa praised the commitment and professionalism of the troops stationed there. He also praised the border security arrangements and operational preparations.

COAS Gen Bajwa also recognized the border fence and pointed out that Pakistan is determined to deal with any challenges that may arise.

He assured the troops that the renovation and construction of the new infrastructure will cooperate with the government to get all necessary support.
